LESSONS

WHERE WE TRAIN

Most of our training sessions take place at Druids Lodge Polo Club in Wiltshire with internationally renowned HPA coach, Giles Ormerod. We get the chance to play on some really high level and responsive horses, but there are also plenty suitable for beginners as well as those who have never ridden before.

Depending on your level you can expect lessons to include stick and ball, shots and game techniques and practice chukkas.

Non-beginners also have the chance to train at Longdole polo club in Gloucestershire at weekends, dependent on demand.

PRICES

Standard lesson prices are £45 for 1hr30 of polo, and drivers get a £5 discount for every beginner they drive to a lesson. Everyone driven is also required to give the driver £5 per journey to cover fuel costs. There are also many boot camps, training days and tournaments throughout the year all at a very reasonable price.

To compete and take part in lessons you must be a member of the club. This costs £25 for the year and can be purchased through our page on the Students' Union website: http://www.bristolsu.org.uk/groups/polo-2c9d
